Innovate Durban launches new publication
The objective of the publication is to provide information on the state of innovation in the province.
INNOVATE Durban, a non-profit organisation aimed at stimulating innovation within the Durban region, hosted the virtual launch of the second edition of the Innovation Publication recently.
The objective of the publication, published annually, is to provide information to all stakeholders, including innovators and investors, on the state of innovation in the province. The publication is hosted on the Innovate Durban Innovation Dashboard, a living mechanism aimed at showcasing the data, celebrating innovation, connecting stakeholders, enabling collaboration, and creating new partnerships and possibilities.
Five categories have been included in the 2020 edition of the State of Innovation in KZN, namely people, investment, infrastructure, ecosystem and impact.

Aurelia Albert, CEO of Innovate Durban, said: “This year’s edition has expanded the measure of innovation to include a number of new indicators. Once again, we showcased and celebrated five more innovators in the region, all of whom are included on the Innovator Dashboard available on the Innovate Durban website.”
