Enjoy Sani Pass walk, raise funds for WESSA

njoy a slow 8km walk down the Sani Pass enjoying the unique flowers, the superb views, and birds along the way with expert botanists to help identify the species.

A SANI Pass Wildflower Walk with special guest botanist, doyen of Sani Pass flowers Elsa Pooley, will be on Sunday, 31 January.

Enjoy a slow 8km walk down the Sani Pass enjoying the unique flowers, the superb views, and birds along the way with expert botanists to help identify the species to add to your appreciation and enjoyment.

Cost of R550 includes transport in 4×4 vehicles up Sani Pass (all vehicles will have sanitisers, windows will be kept open and all passengers are required
to wear face masks) and transport back from SA border post to Giant’s Cup Café from 3pm.

Advance bookings only due to limited transport.

You will need to take your passport as you will be exiting SA at an official border. Take hiking boots, a packed lunch, lots of water to drink, a hiking stick, hat, warm clothing and raingear. Flower books, binoculars and cameras are optional.

Meet at 6.30am sharp at the Giant’s Cup Café, 10.5km down the Sani Pass Road.
