“We receive no state funding and are reliant on the support of the community we serve. We are extremely grateful to every single member and guest of KZNWIB for their support both financially and emotionally. Thanks to the generosity of organisations like KZNWIB we are able to continue our passion for rescuing abused and neglected domestic, farm and wild animals, promoting responsible pet ownership, providing a shelter for strays and a veterinary service for pets of underprivileged people,” said Tanya Fleischer, Durban and Coast SPCA marketing manager.
