More volunteers needed at Denis Hurley Centre kitchen

The community is encouraged to volunteer their time to help with serving, washing up and managing the crowd of people at the Centre.

THE feeding programme at the Denis Hurley Centre (DHC) is returning to normal, and there is a need more volunteers.

The community is encouraged to volunteer their time to help with serving, washing up and managing the crowd of people at the Centre.

Volunteers can join the team on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 11am and 1pm.

Safe parking is available behind the Cathedral (tell the security guard you are going to volunteer with the DHC).

If you are volunteering alone, you may just arrive, however if you want to volunteer as a group, email Sr Cathy Murugan: cathy@denishurleycentre.org.
“We will also continue to prepare food for distribution at other sites, and we are grateful for the partners who help us by providing food and ingredients. Donations of food are always welcome,” said Sr Cathy. Contact her regarding any donations.
