Bulwer Safety Forum meets on Sunday

Get to know your neighbours and find out what is happening in the community at the next Bulwer Safety and Urban Regeneration Forum meeting.

THE Bulwer Safety and Urban Regeneration Forum (BSURF) invites residents back to its community meetings, which were put on hold during lockdown.

Chairperson, Heather Roos, said the BSURF had taken into account that people had asked to hold meetings on a weekend due to them working or being busy during the week. Therefore, BSURF will host a meeting on Sunday, 18 October from 2.30pm (prompt) until 3.30pm at Berea Bowling Club, Ferguson Road, Glenwood.

These meetings are held to give residents in the sector one community (Alan Paton to King Dinizulu (Berea) Road, Masizi Kunene (South Ridge) Road to Umbilo Road) a platform to come raise concerns, put forward suggestions, ask questions and to get to hear what is going on in the community.

“It also allows residents to hear some of the things that are actually being done in the community. This is our community and crime and grime is most certainly affecting us all. We urge residents to come be part of the solution to create a better community,” said Roos.
