THREE men were caught with drugs during a police raid in Berea.
“Police officers from the Provincial Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant on 25 September 2020 at a premises on Acorn Road in Berea after drug activities were detected,” said provincial SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele.
The operation led to the arrest of the men, aged between 25 and 33, for dealing in drugs.

Police recovered heroin capsules, heroin powder and crack cocaine with an estimated street value of more than R74 000.
Mbele said investigations are underway to determine if the suspects have similar pending cases against them.
She said the suspects were transported to the Durban Central police station where they were charged.
They were set to appear at the Durban Magistrates Court today.
