WATCH: Water meter vandalism baffles Durban councillor

Pipes to water meters have been neatly cut in half along sections of Problem Mkhize Road.

VANDALISM to water meters in the Morningside area has caused concern for residents, who find themselves without water, and the ward councillor, who is baffled by the incidents.

Councillor Ernest Smith said reports have been made to him regarding this, where pipes to the meters have been neatly cut in half, along sections of Problem Mkhize Road, leaving properties without water.

He said he would take this up with the eThekwini Municipality to find out what is known about this, and urges people to report any such incidents.
