Support CANSA Remembrance Walk

Families can walk/run 2km or 5km in their communities any time between 3pm and 5pm on Saturday, 18 July.

EVEN though the world is on hold due to Covid-19, that doesn’t mean cancer is.

Cancer is something that unites everyone, and fighting for the cause is an empowering way to stand united.

By holding a virtual event, Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) in KwaZulu-Natal is still able to see the public’s continued support.

Families can walk/run 2km or 5km in their communities any time between 3pm and 5pm on Saturday, 18 July, or just observe with a luminaria ceremony (lighting of the bags) taking place at 6pm all over the province, in the comfort of your homes.

There is no fee to take part, however a donation would be greatly appreciated. CANSA encourages families to register and receive five luminaria bags and five candles which can be collected at the closest CANSA Care Centre.

It is also Mandela Day on 18 July, and CANSA encourages as many families to participate and be part of a good cause.

To register contact Morne Holloway 072 883 5987 or mholloway@cansa.org.za.

Send photos and videos via WhatsApp to Morne, to be shared on the CANSA Durban Facebook page.

You can also register online via GivenGain (https://bit.ly/31Tq7QW) and make a direct deposit.
