Valuation roll open for inspection

Property owners can lodge objections to their property valuations as set out in the latest Valuation Roll which is open for inspection.

ETHEKWINI Municipality has released its fourth Supplementary Valuation Roll for the 2017 General Valuation.

The roll was published on 21 May 2020 and is open for inspection until 31 July 2020.

Property owners are encouraged to inspect the roll to determine whether the entries reflected therein are a correct reflection of their property.

Property owners may lodge an objection if they feel the valuation is either too high or too low.

The form for lodging an objection is obtainable from the Valuation Roll, Real Estate Unit, 5th Floor, Embassy Building, 199 Anton Lembede Street (Smith Street), Durban or by visiting the website: www.durban.gov.za.

The completed forms must be returned to The Municipal Manager, eThekwini Municipality, Valuation Roll, 5th Floor, Embassy Building, 199 Anton Lembede Street (Smith Street), Durban, 4000. Completed forms can also be emailed to: Objectionand.Appeal@durban.gov.za.
