Eden represents SA in moot competition

Sarushka Naidoo and Caitlin Schwarer represented winning team South Africa at the international moot competition.

LEARNERS from Eden College, Sarushka Naidoo and Caitlin Schwarer, represented winning team South Africa at the international moot competition recently.

International moot interschool competitions take place in front of a mock international tribunal where students act as counsellors and advocate the different sides of a case based on a problem written by an organisation or school. The students analyse the problem, identify the legal issues, research the law, write the briefs and orally present it to the moot court. In essence, the students learn how to litigate a case in front of an international tribunal doing what an attorney does in real life.

Eden is incredibly proud of the hard work and determination that the girls put into the competition, having made sacrifices and handled the challenges with grace and integrity.
