DETECTIVES at Umbilo SAPS are appealing for assistance with regards to the whereabouts of a man depicted in an identikit they have.
Captain Nqobile Gwala from provincial SAPS said the man is estimated to be aged between 35 and 36.
Detectives believe that he can be of assistance in a rape case they are investigating.

“It is alleged that a 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man on 21 August at 3pm, while she was at a local park. The suspect then drove the car towards Berea where he dropped the victim off and drove away. She reported the incident at Umbilo SAPS and investigations are in progress,” said Gwala.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that can be of assistance in the investigation to contact Sgt Samantha Fynn on 082 930 8615 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
