New website for NPO

The Aryan Benevolent Home recently unveiled its new website.

THE Aryan Benevolent Home (ABH) recently launched a new website in the hope of bringing its supporters together. The national charity has dedicated itself to caring, sharing and serving South Africa’s most vulnerable people since 1921.

The improved design and features make it even easier for users to research and explore the 98-year-old non-profit organisation (NPO). The long-standing charity offers care and shelter to the aged and frail, victims of violence and abuse, children and the mentally and physically challenged, and is reliant on the generosity of donors to keep their residents in good care. Secure sources of funding such as the National Lotteries Distribution Trust Fund have not been forthcoming with their usual support, leaving the ABH with an accumulating deficit.

Nirode Bramdaw, ABH’s council member and spokesperson said: “Many people are unaware that the ABH prepares and serves 750, 000 meals per year and that our food bill is a staggering R13 million per annum. Our new website aims to increase our visibility, reach and influence among potential volunteers, donors and supporters. We are excited about our digital transformation and we hope that our new website will facilitate better communication with people via all platforms.

Nirode said volunteers are the backbone of the ABH and as such it was imperative that they improved their online volunteer recruitment journey.

“We encourage everyone to visit our new website and learn more about the ABH’s upcoming events, the ABH Charity Store, meal donations, our victim empowerment programme and numerous other services.”
