Artsy Christmas fair creates a buzz

THE KZNSA Gallery’s Buzzart Christmas fair was officially opened on 21 November, and will run until 12 January.

This year’s Buzzart theme of ‘being green’ focuses on goods and activities, that are recycled, up-cycled, reworked, previously loved, home-grown, indigenous, organic, carbon friendly – and beautiful. Café and Shopping evenings are run every Thursday where the Arts Café and Buzzart will stay open until 8pm for shopping and meals.

Every Tuesday and Thursday Ja. Magazine hosts free zine, collage and writing workshops from 10am to 2pm.

Previously loved books and clothes vendors will be in the courtyard every Sunday until 12 January.

By way of a guide to visitors to the gallery looking for the perfect locally-produced gifts, each week has been themed to focus on particular offerings. There will be a focus on books this long-weekend, followed by stocking-fillers and last-minute gifts up until 23 December, new year party clothes up to 30 December and back to school with books, bags and

stationery up to 6 January.
