Not only did they raise awareness but also assited with the cataract backlog in the state sector.

Opthalmologist Dr Raymond Way, and registered nurse, Suveena Manickchand on the day.

The Eye Centre and Day Theatre staff in conjunction with ophthalmologists Dr Raymond Way, Dr Vanessa Thunstrom, Dr Viresh Dullabh and Dr Matt Young, collaborated with anaesthetists Dr Dave Gwynn, Dr Colin Padoa and Dr Lisa Ryan to provide the surgeries to the patients pro bono.

The valuable programme has been an annual focus for the past few years and would not be possible without the contribution of each member of the team.
