Support Casual Day and Open Air School

Casual Day is a ‘Time to Shine with persons with disabilities’.

CASUAL Day is a nationwide campaign, the country’s biggest fundraising and awareness project for persons with disabilities. This year Casual Day falls on Friday, 6 September, and the blazing theme is ‘Time to Shine with persons with disabilities.’

Don your brightest clothing (neon, luminous and bright) to shine your allegiance to the cause and to embody a beacon of light to all those around you who struggle with disabilities.

In 2018 South Africans from completely different backgrounds, raised a record R31 million for persons with disabilities. To make this year, the 25th anniversary of the campaign memorable, the team wants to outshine that benchmark, and only South Africa can help them achieve that goal.

To support the Casual Day campaign, buy a Casual Day sticker at R10. Supporting Open Air School for the Disabled in Durban on Esther Roberts Road is one of the easiest ways locals can make a direct impact on the people of KwaZulu Natal living with disabilities. If you buy a Casual Day sticker directly from the Open Air School, R4 of the R10 goes to the school.

To buy Casual Day stickers email: snenhlanhla.maphumulo@openairschool.co.za and cc fphod@openairschool.co.za.
