Saint Giles welcomes donation

The Fidelity ADT team donated uniforms which they will be able to use for their working staff in their factory or as stock in their charity shop.

SAINT Giles Organisation for the Disabled thanked the staff of a local private security company for their recent support.

The Fidelity ADT team donated uniforms which they will be able to use for their working staff in their factory or as stock in their charity shop.

“Saint Giles is a platform that creates numerous opportunities for those in need of specialised treatment for injuries and other disabilities. As a non-profit organisation we rely on donations from the public and other self-generating initiatives to fund the facility’s expenses, staff remuneration and so forth,” explained Terry Rennie, Saint Giles managing director.

Saint Giles employs disabled staff that work on a supply chain assembly concept for large corporations, providing these individuals with an income and allowing them the opportunity to make a significant contribution to society.

“The atmosphere at Saint Giles is fantastic with a high work ethic, enthusiasm and a pure enjoyment for what they do. We love getting involved with their initiatives and it’s an honour to have been able to assist in a small way. We are familiar with the setup at Saint Giles and immediately thought of them when we considered the donation,” said Fidelity ADT’s district manager for KwaZulu-Natal, Vaughan Pillay.

The charity shop at Saint Giles has a variety of donated items which anyone can buy at very low prices. Items such as the uniforms and jerseys donated by Fidelity ADT will definitely add great value, especially for those in need of warm clothing this winter.
