Softball season swings into action

EThekwini Softball Association teams are looking for more players.

THE eThekwini Softball Association (ESA) softball league starts on Sunday, 18 August with an all day rally at Queensmead grounds in Umbilo. This is an opportunity for teams to prepare themselves for the season ahead and for those looking for a club to join. The KZN schools league season starts this weekend 19 – 21 July, with matches on Friday afternoon and Saturday for high schools at Queensmead.
Primary schools play at Hoy Park near North Beach on Saturday mornings.
To enter the schools league contact Charmaine Verrall on: registration@kznschoolssoftball.co.za.

The KZN Masters Softball ladies are in training for the upcoming Annual Masters Championships in Cape Town from 21 to 23 September.
The team is still on the lookout for more over 35s.
