HOLY Family College is providing its learners with various music and cultural programmes where they are encouraged to express themselves.
Recently, a small group of Holy Family College choir members participated in a successful choir workshop, during which participants were enriched by the experience. At a recent school assembly, choir admin badges were awarded to three matriculants, Thandiwe Bhengu, Athenkosi Maphalala and Zamathaba Mathaba, who have played an active role in the administration of the choir.
Another programme for learners is the recently established Ukusa music programme, which offers the opportunity to learn to play an instrument such as piano, guitar and saxophone. The school believes learning an instrument improves concentration, reinforces self-discipline and boosts creativity.
