WATCH: NPOs march in Durban against child abandonment

"If people do not want their children they must give them to someone who will love their children."

FOLLOWING an alarming number of babies being dumped in and around Durban,  activists took to the streets of Durban on Friday morning, to march against child abandonment.

Members of Refocus and Uplifment Foundation, AQC foundation, NICRO as well as Childline South Africa walked through the Durban CBD to City Hall.

Speaking as a concerned citizen who took part in the march, Pastor Kobie Viljoen said they were there to “forcefully” stand against child abandonment and other forms of child abuse.

“If people do not want their children they must give them to someone who will love their children,” he said.
