Celebrate Christmas with carols by candlelight

The Guild has produced the Carols by Candlelight in Durban every year since 1952.

THE Durban Catholic Players’ Guild presents its 66th Carols by Candlelight performance on Saturday, 15 December at Mariannhill Monastery Church at 3pm and at the Greyville Racecourse on Monday, 17 December at 7pm.

The Guild believes in spreading the message of peace, love and joy at Christmas time and the story of the Nativity is performed and traditional Christmas carols are sung. Patron in Durban, Cardinal Wilfrid Napier, will attend the performance and will deliver a special Christmas message and a blessing to all those present.
