Support CROW calendar campaign

Human impact on wild animals is increasing and so is the work of CROW.

COMPASS Cares’ wildlife calendar ambassador, Debbie Cameron, is encouraging the public to buy the 2019 calendars.

Debbie, owner of Debbie Cameron Physiotherapy, and her team have supported the calendar campaign for the past four years. “When I started mountain biking, our group cycled through a gorge that was relatively unexplored and homed a large colony of dassies. Over the years, more and more people came through this gorge and sadly the dassies vanished. I have wondered how the loss of this colony has also affected the birds of prey in the area,” said Debbie.

She said human impact on wild animals is increasing and so was the work of CROW which is why she urged the public to provide financial support through the purchasing of the wildlife calendars, to allow Crow to continue caring for the orphaned, injured and abandoned wild animals coming through its doors.
