Brighton Beach SAPS appeals for help

THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is appealing to the community for help in its investigation into a case of rape.

It is alleged that on 25 June 2018 at around 5am, a 32-year-old woman met a man who promised her job at Field Street, Durban.

They both took a taxi and jumped off at Candela Bridge in the Mayville area.

As they walked through the bushes the victim was grabbed, strangled and raped. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

The woman reported the case of rape at Cato Manor SAPS.

The police believe the man in the identikit can be of assistance in solving the case.
