THE body of a newborn was found dumped in a dirt bin in the Durban CBD this morning.

According to Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care Paramedics they arrived at the scene on Dr Pixley KaSeme Street and Joe Slovo Street and found the newborn in a bin on the side of the road.
The infant was assessed by paramedics and declared deceased. Police are investigating.
