TEAM work between a security guard and a Blue Security armed response officer lead to the arrest of a suspect and the recovery of stolen goods at the weekend.
Blue Security community and media liaison officer Andreas Mathios said an armed response officer had arrested a shoplifter who had stolen goods at a shop in King Dinizulu Road, Berea on Saturday morning.

“The suspect stole the goods and fled on foot pursued by the shop’s security guard. One of our officers joined in the chase and helped the security guard arrest the suspect. He was handed over to the Umbilo SAPS at the scene,” Mathios said.
