Stadium violence: Police release images

Police have released images of individuals they believe can help them in their investigation into the soccer violence that took place at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

IMAGES of individuals police believe can assist them in their investigation into the violence which erupted at Moses Mabhida Stadium following the soccer match between Kaiser Chiefs and Free State Stars on 21 April have been released.

A SAPS KZN Provincial Task Team investigating the incident in conjunction with  the senior public prosecutor released images this week.

People captured in the images are advised to contact the investigating officers immediately. Police have also appealed to the public who can identify the individuals in the photographs to also contact Capt Reddy on 082 458 5630 or Detective Warrant Officer Mlungwana on 082 662 7764.

All information will be treated with the strictest confidence and those who wish to remain anonymous can do so.
