Empowering small business owners

A business owner contacted Margaret Hirsch to assist her in getting her small takeaway business off the ground.

A SMALL business owner in Durban has been given the opportunity to grow her business, thanks to a new location outside Hirsch’s in Umgeni Road.

Business owner, Nokuthula Kubisa, recently contacted Margaret Hirsch of Hirsch’s Home Stores to assist her in getting her small takeaway business off the ground. Margaret jumped at the opportunity to assist and gave Nokuthula free use of the premises outside Hirsch’s Umgeni Road, as per her request.

Nokuthula noticed a gap in the market for those working in the Umgeni Road area as there is a lack of restaurants or takeaways to buy good healthy home cooked food. An ecstatic Nokuthula said: “I just want to thank Mrs Hirsch, because of her generosity I am able to support my children.”
