WATCH: Zuma vigil gets off to slow start

The all night vigil in support of Jacob Zuma has got off to a low-key start at Albert park.

THE all-night vigil in support of former President Jacob Zuma at Albert Park got off to a slow start on Thursday evening with small groups of people slowly making their way to the venue, some dancing and singing ‘Leave Zuma alone’.

Zuma’s supporters have vowed to gather in their numbers to show their support for the former President who will make his first court appearance in the Durban High court on Friday morning before Judge Themba Sishi on 16 charges of corruptions, money laundering and racketeering.

In addition to the #HandsOffZuma vigil tonight, supporters will also embark on a protest march on Friday from King Dinizulu Park  to the high court.
