Mugs and Mallows drive for Easter

Willow in Windermere Centre is the official Durban drop-off point for Mugs and Mallows.

THE drive for Mugs and Mallows is on again this year and the Rbin Hood Foundation is encouraging the public to take part and donate a mug filled with three or four marshmallow eggs, to be distributed to elderly and children homes.

Kim Griffith Jones, co-ordinator of the Foundation, said: “So many of the elderly and children we visit in the various homes, creches and schools either have to share a few mugs or drink out of chipped broken mugs! If you’d like to get invovled and donate your preloved great condition or new ceramic or plastic mugs, fill them with three or four marshmallow eggs, and help us spread some Easter joy in April.”
