Elderly treated this Christmas

The elderly at Tafta Lodge enjoyed a Christmas celebration on Thursday.

THE Robin Hood Foundation treated the elderly living at Tafta Lodge in South Beach to a Bless a Granny and Grandpa Christmas celebration on Thursday.

Residents enjoyed entertainment by singer and guitarist, Rene Tshiakanyi while eating cakes and other snacks and enjoying a cup of tea or juice, after which they were each handed a gift in celebration of Christmas.

Volunteers from Robin Hood Foundation as well as Pentravel and Runga Trans, helped to serve the elderly tea and eats, as well as spent time talking to them at the celebration.
