Community thanks Glenwood Ambassadors

Heather Rorick said she was very grateful for the donations which have been put together to give to the Bulwer Ambassadors.

THE Glenwood community responded to the call of Bulwer Safety and Urban Regeneration Forum (BSURF) chairperson, Heather Rorick, to collect items for hampers to give to the Bulwer Community Improvement Project (BCIP) Ambassadors this festive season.

Heather said she was very grateful for the donation of juice, chips, biscuits, noodles, cans of food, soup, Christmas cakes and toiletries she received, which have been put together to give to the Ambassadors.

“We thank everyone who donated items and for those people who also gave me some treats, and recognised the work the Ambassadors and I do in Helen Joseph Road. The Ambassadors are very pleased with these hampers,” she said.

Heather said the Ambassadors will also receive food buckets from the directors of the BCIP to thank them for their outstanding work in decreasing the crime and grime in the road over the past year.
