GABRIELLA Bonini-Dammermann, a young Grade 8 Eden College star participated in the Natal Festival of Dance recently and came home with a fistful of medals. She won a bronze medal in the Contemporary Solo and silver medals for Jazz Solo and Character Solo for which she attained 94 per cent. She won the trophy and a gold medal for the Overall Best Duet in all ages.
At the Durban Dance Youth Awards she tied first place for the Senior Contemporary Solo Choreographed by dance teacher Shelby Strange.
In the Cecchetti Intermediate Exam she was the runner up in KZN with a mark of 92 per cent and in her Modern Exams she achieved 95 per cent, the highest mark in KZN for this session.
She was congratulated on her achievements by principal Mrs Karen Morrison.
