Spanish dance company celebrates 35 years

THE Linda Vargas Spanish Dance Company, will continue the year long celebration of its 35th anniversary with an annual showcase at the UKZN Centre for Jazz and Popular Music, Memorias Flamenca, from 14 to 17 December.

Memorias Flamenca will take audiences down memory lane as it looks back at the legacy of 35 years. The show will include fresh interpretations of previous highlights, some old favourites, as well as new contemporary choreographies. The celebrations will culminate in the 35th Anniversary Gala production at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre in July 2018.

There are only four performances, which usually sell out very quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment. Performances are nightly at 7pm and on Sunday 17 December at 3pm.
