Don’t miss bodyboarding champs

The public is encouraged to go support the 31st South African Bodyboarding Championships in Durban.

DON’T miss all the surf action at the 31st South African Bodyboarding Championships in Durban from 2 to 7 October.

This prestigious event will bring the country’s top bodyboarders (comprising of seven provincial teams) to Durban for five days of competition.

National titles will be competed for with this being the final event of the year. Fierce competition will result in deciding the top provincial team. The Ethekwini Bodyboarding team (EBA) is without a doubt South Africa’s most successful bodyboarding team, having won the SA title 26 times, and as the current champions the team has no intention of losing the title on home ground.

This year the contest will be a roaming event and there will be multiple locations across the greater Durban area. Possible surf spots are Battery Beach/Suncoast Beach/Country Club (Bike and Bean) Beach, Bay of Plenty, Snake Park, North Beach, Wedge, New Pier and Brighton Beach, Bluff.
