Latvian pianist Agnese Eglina will perform at the Durban Jewish Centre.

FRIENDS of Music Association’s next recital on 3 October at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban, will feature pianist, Agnese Eglina.

The Latvian pianist invites the public to her solo recital made up of a dazzling, vigorous and insightful whirl of dance music and dance-inspired pieces through the ages of music history. Prelude performer is 15-year-old pupil of Kharwastan Secondary School, pianist, Ethan Mackenzie. He started playing piano when he was eight, and is also learning to play the guitar. Other than music he also enjoys soccer, swimming, cricket and volleyball.

He is accompanied by Melissa Greyvenstein.
