Repairs are being undertaken after electricity issues were reported by residents.

The repairing process, which began on 27 August, involves digging up the road to enable the eThekwini electricity team to effectively carry out the repair work.

This will require about three to four weeks to complete, dependent on the weather conditions.

The excavations are currently underway from 164 to 202 Anton Lembede Street.

The repair of the cable will follow shortly once the excavations are complete.
