A second motorist,who broke down on the freeway this afternoon, has been robbed and stabbed. The motorist’s vehicle broke down on the N2, southbound coming from Spaghetti Junction.

While he was waiting for assistance, two men appeared from out of the bushes and accosted him, demanding valuables.
A struggle ensued during which one of the men stabbed the motorist in the head.

One suspect managed to grab items from the vehicle, as passing motorists stopped to assist. The valuables were recovered and paramedics rushed to the scene to attend to the injured man.
This is the second motorist this week who has been robbed and stabbed after breaking down on the freeway.
