No injuries in house fire
A house in Currie Road caught alight early on Saturday morning.
POLICE will be investigating the cause of a fire at a house in Berea early on Saturday morning.
Garrith Jamieson from Rescue Care Paramedics said at around 8am on 4 March, paramedics responded to the report of a house on fire in Currie Road.
“On their arrival they found the Durban Fire Department in attendance already fighting the fire. The house was well alight but fire fighters managed to contain the blaze quickly,” he said.
Fortunately no one sustained any injuries on the scene. Berea SAPS was in attendance and will be investigating further.
