THE body of a decaying foetus was found among rubbish in a black bag outside a home on Esther Roberts Road this morning, 27 December.
Heather Rorick from the Bulwer Safety and Urban Regeneration Forum, was called to the scene by a resident when the foetus, which she said appeared to have been aborted, was found by a woman who was walking past the bag. She said the wrapped up body was found after the bag had been rifled through by vagrants.
“The foetus seems to have been in the bag for a while as it was only found after it started to smell. This is a disgrace that a baby’s body was left on the pavement where people are walking past, it is terrible,” she said.
Rorick said she had informed the police who would be attending the scene to investigate.
