IN PICTURES: Still time to catch Annie show on stage

The show is being staged to raise money for East Rand Children's Haven.

You can still book for Benoni thespian group Encore Theatre Productions’ adaptation of Annie entitled Tomorrow the Musical, at the Springs Theatre.

Two shows will follow the first shows, staged on August 26 and 27.

According to the directors of the show, Michael Stols and Ashleigh Kroll, the opening weekend received great support.

The show is being staged to raise money for East Rand Children’s Haven, which has about 21 children of varying ages in its care at the moment.

“Proceeds of the ticket sales will be used to buy the home groceries, school supplies, clothing and whatever else they may need for the children. Throughout rehearsals, the cast of Tomorrow the Musical has also been making donations to us of clothing and toys, etc.,” said Ashleigh.

“We are looking forward to the public’s support of our latest production in order for us to realise our goal of helping the children’s home.”
