Amapiano muso aims to inspire

He is currently working on a music project called SuperSaiyan 1.

Amapiano vocalist Mpho Lebajoa, known as ‘Scotts Maphuma’ to his fans, has been making waves in the music industry over the past few months.

The 27-year-old muso, who lives in Etwatwa, is well known for his intriguing vocals on a hit track called Umshini where he was featured by Dlala Regal

The song trended on TikTok and got airplay on DSTV channels.

“When we recorded the song I knew it was going make waves but I just didn’t think it will be this big,” he said.

Although Scotts specialises in amapiano music he considers himself a versatile artist who can tackle any genre of music.

“My music is different. My vocals are difficult to understand but they make people dance.”

The Etwatwa artist who started recording music in 2018 said he is currently working on a music project called SuperSaiyan 1.

“I cannot say that it is an EP or album but something big is coming from Scotts and people should be on the lookout for it. It will be an RnB of amapiano, which will be the softest and most chilled music. I want it to inspire my peers,” said Scotts.

His goal is to build a powerful record label in the next five years.
