WIN! Tickets to Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show in Benoni on Sunday up for grabs

Nebula Entertainment and the City Times are giving away two double tickets to the screening of Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show.

It is being screened at their cinemas nationwide between May 20 and 22, including the Benoni cinema, which is at the E John Butler Centre for the Arts, at St Dunstan’s College, in Rynfield, at 14:00 on Sunday (May 22).

Synopsis:
In 1994, seven minutes changed the face of Irish dancing forever. The Eurovision interval performance of Riverdance gave millions of people a new and exciting glimpse of the future of Irish dance.

Twenty five years later, the new 25th anniversary show catapulted the production into the 21st century and completely immersed audiences in the extraordinary and elemental power of its music and dance.

Composer Bill Whelan rerecorded his mesmerising soundtrack while producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan completely reimagined the ground-breaking show with innovative and spectacular lighting, projection, stage and costume designs.

This powerful and stirring reinvention of the beloved family favourite is celebrated the world over for its Grammy Award-winning music and the thrilling energy of its Irish and international dance.

Filmed live in 2020 at the 3Arena Dublin, the exact spot where it all began, the 25th anniversary gala performance of Riverdance is being screened by Nebula for the first time on big screen in South Africa.
