Protea production postponed due to Covid
Due to concerns raised in a board meeting about the rise in Covid-19 statistics, Protea felt it safer to postpone the show.
The Protea Stage Production’s show-stopping evening of show tunes and plays that were expected to hit the streets of Benoni at the All Souls Church Hall on December 10 and 11 have been postponed.
Due to concerns raised in a board meeting about the rise in Covid-19 statistics, they felt it safer to postpone the show until further notice.
“Our concern and responsibility for the well-being of cast and audiences swung the vote unanimously,” said Protea member Bob Stone.
The production company apologises for any inconvenience caused.
“We will pick up the show in the new year and aim to perform as soon as possible depending on restrictions,” Stone concluded.
