Enjoy classic music with the East Rand Youth Orchestra

The NPO was founded in 1978 with the aim to introduce the public to orchestral music and to allow children to enjoy themselves while entertaining and educating others.

Classical music lovers are invited to witness the talented youth of the East Rand Youth Orchestra on November 7.

The East Rand Youth Orchestra will host their Musical Strokes concert with the Benoni Rowing Club to help raise funds for the orchestra to continue supporting their students by paying for their music lessons.

The concert will be held at the rowing club (next to Arrowe Park Scout Centre), Ebenezer Street, Lakefield, from 1pm.

However, gates will open at noon to conduct Covid-19 protocols.

Attendees must wear a mask, bring their own picnic basket, drinks, blankets, or chairs. Tea and coffee will be on sale.

Tickets charged at R100 for adults, R80 for pensioners and learners.
