Ndlovu Youth Choir ready to entertain

Since its inception in 2009, the Ndlovu Youth Choir has become one of the world's most treasured groups.

The vibrant Ndlovu Youth Choir captured the hearts and minds of all South Africans and the world as they reached the final of America’s Got Talent last year with their soul-stirring performances.

Now Johannesburg audiences have the chance to enjoy Africa’s pride and joy, live and in concert, as Ndlovu Youth Choir stage We Will Rise at Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace from November 1 for four shows only.

Since its inception in 2009, the Ndlovu Youth Choir has become one of the world’s most treasured groups. Their unique musical arrangements, powerhouse vocals, irresistibly combined with mesmerising choreography and infectious energy have inspired millions across the globe.

Audiences will be in for a treat as they are taken on a scintillating two-hour journey of hit after hit that the choir have become famous for.

This 30-strong choir, ranging in age from 14 to 24, from the beautiful Moutse Valley in rural Limpopo, will soon have the audience top-tapping along or up on their feet dancing, asking for more in response to their infectious energy and mesmerising choreography.

Show times:

• October 30 – 8pm

• October 31 – 3pm and 8pm

• November 1 – 3pm.

Doors open one hour before each performance, and patrons are encouraged to arrive early for this reason.

There is no age restriction but the theatre has a “No under 3s” policy for the comfort of all patrons.
