Aspiring model Tshegofatso Msibi (12) is in need of funds to attend Miss Legacy South Africa pageant.

Tshegofatso is a semi-finalist in the pageant, which was scheduled to take place in April, but has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic

A minimum of R1 500 is needed for Tshegofatso to participate in the pageant which will be held sometime this year.

The fee is needed by October 10.

Tshegofatso is currently in second place in the Junior Miss Legacy South Africa 2020 voting poll, with 1 000 votes.

The Tshipi-Noto Primary School learner said participating in this pageant will mean a lot to her, as she is passionate about modelling and she wants to represent Gauteng at the finals.

She now holds three titles – Miss Valentine second princess 2016 (school pageant), Miss Tshipi-noto queen 2018 and Miss Face of Daveyton pre-teen second princess 2019.

The youngster previously told the City Times that her life motto is that it is not about looks, age, financial status or gender but if you believe in what you are doing and in yourself, you will make it happen.

Tshegofatso Msibi holds three pageant titles.

“My mom, Sindi, has always supported me as a mentor, since she cannot afford to get me into a modelling agency.”

Tshegofatso uses video tutorials and guidelines from her mother to improve her modelling.

The ambitious youngster is inspired by Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, as she sees her true reflection in her.
“I believed in myself even more after seeing Zozibini take the crown. I told myself that if she can do it then it is also possible for a black child like me,” she said.

To donate contact Sindi on 082 256 1765 or contact the Miss Legacy SA team on 061 635 8433.
