Rock Your Mother Tongue Comedy is a long-standing proudly South African brand and has been associated with the trailblazers of vernac comedy.
Mashabela says: “Vernacular comedians are not as recognised as the mainstream guys. We have to work harder to get the recognition, but vernacular comedy is growing and people who come to the shows are extremely loyal and show a huge amount of love and appreciation.”
