Dog lover wins Subaru Forester

Recently Montego Pet Nutrition and Subaru Southern Africa held the Field & Forest Taste of Adventure competition and the winner have been announced.

The vehicle handover ceremony took place at Subaru Johannesburg where Mr Vincent Roberts received the keys to his new Subaru Forester 2.0i CVT. Mr Roberts which was overcome by emotions when he received the news telephonically said that he always wanted a Subaru since he was only a child. The winning entry was randomly drawn to reveal the owner of two rescued dogs and Bloemfontein local was the winner. “I strongly believe that animals should not just be locked up in small cages and transported as luggage, but that you must ensure your vehicle is of a good safety rating and Subaru is one of the best choices for this,” Vincent Roberts, Field & Forest Taste of Adventure winner.

“What better collaboration than to offer up a pet-friendly, capable and safe vehicle for nature lovers who want to explore the outdoors and feed their pets one of the best pet nutrition products the South African market has to offer. Partnering with Subaru for this campaign and being able to offer consumers the chance to win such a phenomenal prize is something we are extremely proud of. We’re thankful for the support we received from our loyal customers and retailers across the country. We also look forward to potential future collaborations with Subaru, while continuing to provide our customers with the highest-quality grain-free ultra-premium dog food they’ve come to the trust and love,” Kelvin Westraat, Marketing Manager for Field & Forester.

Subaru Southern Africa saw this competition as the ideal opportunity to showcase its product range to the pet owner market. Most pet owners consider the pet to be a part of their families and as such, Subaru SA is happy to produce a pet-centric vehicle which caters to the comfort and safety of all of its occupants. “Very few automotive companies cater to this market. All vehicles in Subaru’s range offer accessories that cater specifically for pets. Our SUVs are also low enough to make it easier for these pets to jump into the vehicle without any assistance, and of course, we have the safest vehicles globally for both humans and pets,” Nteo Nkoli, Marketing Lead, Subaru Southern Africa.
