Clap N Tap Awards held

Out of 14 categories, each nominated choir walked away with R2 000, while choir of the year and song of the year winners pocketed R6 000 each and trophies.

The South African Annual National Mmino Wa Clap N Tap Awards recently returned for its fifth anniversary to award choirs for their continuous hard work.

The event, which took place at Emperors Palace, saw Damaseka Encha Gospel Choir from the Vaal scooping the most important awards of the night, such as choir of the year, most disciplined choir and choir manager of the year.

The Clap N Tap music genre is growing in leaps and bounds, positioning the artists in great stages to be recognised for their exceptional work.
