Warmer winter from Mitsubishi and Hot 91.9 FM

The winter just became a little warmer for some of the less fortunate with the help of Mitsubishi Motors South Africa and Hot 91.9 FM.

No less than 53 Mitsubishi dealerships across the country are taking part in the initiative with the help from North Riding based radio station. Both entities are calling on South Africans to donate blankets, old clothes and canned food to the less fortunate. These items can be dropped off at any Mitsubishi dealership.

“We would like to challenge everyone – not only Mitsubishi customers – to spread some warmth in the life of those who don’t have the luxury of a cosy home, share your warmth, by donating just one blanket can make a huge difference in someone’s life. Support the Mitsubishi Motors SA and Hot 91.9 FM Winter Blanket Drive by donating a blanket or any other winter item. Simply take a blanket or winter item (e.g.: canned food, clothing, etc.) to your nearest Mitsubishi Motors SA dealership.” Nic Campbell, General Manager of Mitsubishi Motors South Africa.

The Hot Cares campaign and Winter Blanket Drive will be running until the middle of August. Lloyd Madurai, HOT 91.9 FM founder and station Managing Director says the station is not only about fun but also making meaningful differences in lives of people around them.

“We are also working together with associates such as Mitsubishi Motors South Africa to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us,” Lloyd Madurai, HOT 91.9 FM founder and station Managing Director
