December 13 to 24

Northmead Square December festivities, school holiday activities for the kids, face painting and photo opportunities with Santa, corner of 14th Avenue and O’Reilly Merry Street, Northmead, 11am until 2pm (Sharné Bodenstein 011 425 5541).

December 13 to January 6

Northmead Square Toy Drive, donate old or new toys and stationery to be given to the children at the Tambo Memorial Hospital, the donation box is situated at the centre (Sharné Bodenstein 011 425 5541).

December 13 to 15

South African National Blood Service (SANBS) and Northmead Square blood drive, corner of 14th Avenue and O’Reilly Merry Street, Northmead, 9am until 5pm.

Eastern Model Railway Interest Group (EMRIG) quarterly swap meet and flea market, Northmead Mall, First Street, Northmead, 9am until noon (Terrance Marx 082 536 3503).

December 24

Northfield Methodist Church crib service, children can dress up as a nativity character or manger animal, Father Christmas will give out sweets, photo-booth, corner Aerodrome Drive and Webb Street, Airfield, 6pm (Jackie Leschinsky 010 140 0210).

Billions Bubbles Show, Sun Arena, tickets sold for R120 to R240 per person depending on the seating section selected, parking available at R20 per car, children under three enter for free, Time Square, show-times: 10.30am, 2pm and 7pm.
